Radiator replacement

After the coolant change the radiator started leaking.

Factory unit, 260k km, never cleaned.

Couldn’t find a genuine replacement. Catalogs list a Nissens 68138 for the R20A3 engine.

Turns out it’s missing the top and bottom mounting loops for the AC condenser radiator.

Hung it on zip ties as a temporary fix.

Ordered a Denso DRM40025 instead, catalog-listed for the 2.4L engines. All dimensions and mounts match the stock 2.0L unit. The fitting is positioned differently though, due to the different front engine mount placement between the 2.0 and 2.4.

No issues on install — just had to rotate it slightly so the hose doesn’t touch the mount.

Didn’t remove the bumper.

Could have gone with a Nissens 68096 as well, also meant for the 2.4L, but it wasn’t cheap enough over the Denso to bother switching.

The radiator cap was replaced along with the fluid at the previous service.

The swap was done by Wins.
