Cleaning and storage

Winter is coming to an end, which means it’s the perfect time to share my experience on preparing a car for storage.

The usual procedure was expanded and now includes the following steps:

  • Exterior washing and drying
  • Interior cleaning
  • Cleaning plastic and leather surfaces
  • Lubricating seals, joints, hinges, and locks
  • Checking, charging, and subsequently disconnecting the battery
  • Switching to winter tires
  • Storage in a dry enclosed parking area until March
