Cleaning and storage
Winter is coming to an end, which means it’s the perfect time to share my experience on preparing a car for storage.
The usual procedure was expanded and now includes the following steps:
- Exterior washing and drying
- Interior cleaning
- Cleaning plastic and leather surfaces
- Lubricating seals, joints, hinges, and locks
- Checking, charging, and subsequently disconnecting the battery
- Switching to winter tires
- Storage in a dry enclosed parking area until March
