Cleaning Front Seats and Central Armrest
The results of the previous cleaning were satisfactory, but there remained a sense that only a minor part of the dirt was removed, with the majority being evenly spread and ingrained deeper into the fabric.
The decision was made to clean as experienced detailer Vermijl does.
Photos of the process are absent since the cleaning was done solo. The outcome was exactly as in the referenced video:
- Conduct a dry vacuum to remove sand and surface dust.
- Spray the cleaning solution Koch Mzr.
- After a minute or two, treat the surface with a drill equipped with a round brush. Some foam will appear. It’s important not to press too hard, especially over seams.
- Deep stains and hard-to-reach areas were cleaned with a brush. A brush from the previous Soft99 set was used.
- Perform a wet vacuum cleaning. The cleaning agent along with the dirt will be removed with water.
- Repeat dry vacuuming at maximum power (1200-1600 Watts) to remove moisture remnants. It’s okay to press down slightly to extract moisture from the filler beneath the fabric.
- Leave the car open in a garage with a dehumidifier until fully dry. This took approximately 5 hours.

Observations for the next cleaning:
- It’s advisable to remove the seats. Too much time is spent inefficiently on:
- selecting positions for cleaning without scratching or rubbing anything,
- protecting interior elements from chemical and water exposure,
- cleaning hard-to-reach places,
- drying.
- A higher quality spray dispenser is needed. The sprayer from a window cleaner distributes unevenly and sometimes sprays the cleaning agent too concentratedly.
